To wit:
Notably absent: a Notion API. Hopefully we'll see it in the next release?
Curious - what would you use the API for?
I'd really love an API to use with jupiter - a life-planning tool I've built atop Notion for myself mainly.
Right now I'm using an "unofficial" API, but it has the downsides of being unofficial, slow, and changing just when I'm least expecting it :)
As for me, I'm waiting for the API so I can build a little program to migrate the clusterfuck my company has in JIRA to Notion so I don't have to wait 50 years after reloading a page.
Not certain off the top of my head, and it depends on the API's actual features, but perhaps:
A few days ago someone shared this tool, if you want to automate things it might be useful? https://notion-automations.com
IH comment section is just full of good stuff! Thanks for sharing!
My 2 cents - I have a lot of content on notion. Its kind of like a journal for my projects. If they have a api, I can use it to setup app updates, blogs, tutorials etc.
Airtable comes very close to fulfilling this need but their text editor field is very very limited.
YESSSS! here's our explainer + take:
