Notion users -- what features are you missing?

Hi all! I've recently become obsessed with Notion and have had a lot of fun building out integrations to help with tasks at work. In talking with a friend I realized that other folks here might be facing similar issues.

My question for the group would be: what features do you wish Notion had for your work that it doesn't right now? Ideas I've come up with so far have been:

  1. Hosting public pages on custom domains
  2. Latex equation editing
  3. Process flow diagrams
  4. Google analytics for public facing pages

For reference the only one I've built that's production ready is the public pages on custom domains but I'm planning on building out Latex editing this week as well

Hey, for my needs Notion is already pretty nice. Most of my problems with it would be solved if they just made it faster and more stable on mobile.

I use it primarily for tracking tasks and maintaining an internal knowledge base. I have also made use of public pages (I set up a documentation page for my current project with Notion to save some time) and would probably choose to host them on a custom domain if that was easy to do.

Would you be willing to try setting up a custom domain with Notion following the guide here? It shouldn't take more than five minutes and requires no code!

I'm afraid that currently I have quite a lot of other things to do. If my project Gleebeam ever takes off I'll consider your solution for the Documentation page which I currently have on Notion.

In any case, thanks for sharing it. I was actually recently looking for how to embed Notion pages on a custom domain for a blog I wanted to start. I ended up using Wordpress. Not sure if I would have gone with this solution for the blog but now at least I know it's possible!
