What I find interesting is that sustainability can mean very different things depending on how it is measured.
For investors, the harder question may not be whether sustainability matters, but whether a company's environmental claims translate into measurable resilience, better resource use, and long-term value.
There is also a risk of treating sustainability as an investment theme rather than looking at how deeply it is embedded in the business model.
I think the more useful question is: what signals can investors use to distinguish genuine sustainability from sustainability as a positioning strategy?
