Offer help learning English (aimed at Spanish speakers but open to anyone interested)

Hi,

I am Migsar, from Mexico. I learned English while I was studying high school and I think it has been one of the most important skills to have access to more opportunities through my career.

I am not a certified teacher and I don't want to be one, but I know how insecure some people feel about their language skills, insecure enough to avoiding conversations and to sharing their thoughts and I want to help indie hackers coming from non-English speaking countries with that. I think there is so much talent out there but many factors came into place and language is often a barrier.

What I offer:

  • Help to get started and tips to keep you motivated.
  • Help to feel more comfortable expressing your thoughts/ideas.
  • Scheduled conversations (obviously this is limited to my available time).
  • Help to translate ideas and discuss topics.

What I am not offering:

  • A free translation service.
  • A traditional course for getting a certificate. (The goal here is to help indie hackers).

My first language is Spanish so I think it would be easier for me to help people that speak Spanish, but please send me a message if you are interested no matter what language you speak.

I know this post could be in Spanish, but I think it is safe to assume that the people that signed in for Indie Hackers is comfortable understanding English or use some of the freely available translators to access the content here.
