I'll be holding #office-hours via a Zoom call on Thursday at 2pm PST.

I can talk to you 1-on-1 about sales, hiring, programming, or other topics related to growing your online business. I plan to stream it live on my Twitch channel here.

(By the way, I'm Vincent Woo, founder of Coderpad. I was on the Indie Hackers podcast a while back, where I talked about bootstrapping Coderpad to $2M.)

I'd love to learn about what type of sales (cold calling/emailing, responding to inbound) has worked well for you, and also what hasn't worked well. And for the sales strategies that work for you, what are some of the mechanics - for example, if you cold call folks how do you generate that list of companies to call.

Would love to talk about feature and effort prioritization. Lots of feedback channels, lots of team members have their own idea about what is important, how do you get to shared purpose?

I ran into this problem, too. I'm building a tool that lets your users submit/upvote their most wanted features. They get notified when your features go into development, are completed, etc. and can see a roadmap of what you're working on next.

It's still rough around the edges, but here's a picture.

If you (or anyone else) is interested in trying it, you can sign up for the beta!

Sidenote: Stripe isn't a beta customer, I just thought they'd be an understandable example.

Hi Zeph, the link isn't working for some reason. Won't connect. I'll try again soon!

Huh, that's weird. It's working on my end. If you want, you can just send me an email at mark@mayvalellc.com!

Hey @vwoo, thanks for doing this! It was great to talk to you a while back at an Indie Hackers meetup in SF.

I had a question around hiring and how you're able to persuade great talent to join a company that presumably can't pay as much as a top-tier tech company (or at least compete with RSUs). It seems like focusing on the mission or vision of the company is important, but I wondered if you've had success hiring great people who haven't needed that tie-in to the mission to be successfully recruited.

    I'm interested!

We are working on our outbound sales. I'd love to go through our sales deck and how to structure a sales demo. We're both product founders, so we need some help on this!

Very cool, I'll be there! I'd be interested to learn about how you marketed/sold to your early customers.

Would love to learn about how to turn signups -> into paying customers

This is awesome Vincent! Just started working full-time on my project and would love to get a qualified second eye on my marketing ideas. Also how do you measure progress on a day-to-day basis and on a longer timeframe? What does sufficient progress look like? What are your thoughts on the Open Startup thing (making all metrics public)?
