We're live!
Indie Hackers founder Courtland Allen is holding office hours with several founders looking for help with their businesses:
- @felixlfk, founder of Strawberry Socials, is looking to turn early-stage traction into long-term momentum
- @helengriffinjr is researching real problems impacting founders and wants to know how Courtland handled sales with IH
- @sunshowerlisa, founder of Sunshower.io, is trying to overcome the "if we build it they will come" engineer mindset
- @bubsolow built a Chrome extension for herself and would like to validate whether or not it's a good B2B SaaS idea
- @Aaron_915, founder iOS knowledge base app Count, is looking to test marketing strategies
- @soluxos, founder of Bookerino, is planning to launch soon and would like to discuss finding users and build a community website
- @subhro, founder of Lawyers Not Lawyering, is in search of tips for growing and monteizing a community of lawyers
- @harrydry is building a gallery of marketing tips for founders and is looking for all-around feedback around growth and potential obstacles
Tune in as we livestream the call!
Thanks everyone for showing up! Hope to do a lot more of these in the future.
Hi Courtland. How do we signup for office hours?
I'd love the opportunity to join in and chat about Budibase
@csallen you should do this more often! It was so entertaining and educational just watching your thinking process and giving advices to others.
@bubsolow nice product, I can see it working for many industries. to start changing for it i think workflows could be the way you do it, an admin sets up the workflow and then other users can use that workflow.
Can also add stats, such as how many times that workflow has been used.
thank you — i appreciate the feedback : )
feel you on the workflow side! any idea what other industries i could consider besides customer support reps who manually fill forms all day?
Your example was ecommerce, I know in IT they have to copy data from one website to another, such as serial numbers etc.
good to know! i started working on the mvp as a cx employee @ an e-comm company but wasn't sure how much value this could have for other folks. that's great info!
Related to the first interview:
The thing about IH "stealing an audience" from HN is that at least from my POV, its content was better aimed at HN's core than typical HN content. I think that's why it worked so well and got public support from their mods.
Thanks, @csallen! Need to go back and listen to what I missed after I got kicked out of the cowork space. 😂
It was so interesting to see real people! Thanks!
Courtland, watching now...how can we sign up for an office hour with you? Thanks.
Nevermind, heard you explain how (going to http://www.indiehackers.com/office-hours). Thanks.
