Dreams, failures, regret, helplessness, persistence, heartbreak, betrayal, hope, stress, excitement. Indie hacking beats a Mexican soap opera.

Let me just say that I’ve developed a deep respect and admiration for each of you who released your products. I had no idea what I was signing up for, and I feel like I’m still in for an awakening.

17 months and 13 days have passed since a switch flipped in my brain, and I jumped head first into building my own product.

I’ve been working on 5 different products since, some small, some ambitious, some more polished than others. But if they have one thing in common, is that neither of them are released.

Well that changes Today!

After 2 full rewrites, and several partial rewrites; after many mistakes, and many lessons learned, Scrumbs is finally here.

It’s crazy to think that a year ago we had a working MVP targeting 5 different platforms, and today we are releasing the alpha for browsers only - but there’s a silver lining to everything. In this case the silver lining is that because of our obsession with look, feel and usability, Scrumbs won the A' Design Award, in the Information Technologies Design category.

I hope you’ll enjoy using the product as much as we enjoyed building it!
