Oil & Gas Operations Suite

Hello folks,

I have been toying around with an oil and gas operations management suite for the last several years. It has taken form in many shapes - from access database to sql backend behind various no-code platforms that I abandoned. I got tired of toying around with it alone and decided to abandon it completely since I was not getting any enjoyment out of it.

I no longer work in the industry but I still would like to get something built and pushed out to potential users - if for any reason to validate my long held idea and to have something solid under my belt that I could say I built. I still have my industry contacts to find users.

I would like to see if anyone out there is interested in partnering up with me to get this thing built. I am not really focused on it making any money. I just want to build it and get some companies to start using it. If we get traction, we can talk about monetizing it. But if not, I will be happy with the experience and opportunity to finally have a solid project I can put my name on.

It is a fairly complex application. I have probably 80% of the design done. It will be a complete rebuild so we can both decide on how it gets designed and built. I know basically nothing terms of coding - which is why I have always relied on no-code platforms. No longer. I would like to get this built using javascript (if we both agree on it) and learn to code it myself. So I would like who ever is interested to have at least enough knowledge to carry this project and let me be basically a code apprentice.

I can assure you this would be a challenging and rewarding project. It would be a side project that we could work on during the evenings and weekends.
