On Finding Joy Again in Communities

When I was younger, I was a part of the community but I forgot about that.

It was a community about GTA San Andreas if you can even believe in it. It was years ago, and back then I was really helpful to the community and wrote some of the libraries. Some of those libraries were downloaded around ~30k times. I found them again this weekend, but I thought they were lost.

And that community would reward you if you would help other people succeed. This is where communities are great, they will support you if your intentions are good and trying to help the community succeed. I really had a great time in that community, my main intention back then was to help other people, and that's what I was doing.

This reminded me how much I like to be part of a larger group, been working as Engineer for quite some time. But started engaging with the Indie community recently and I found joy and excitement in it again, like I had 10 years ago.

I started writing publically on substack (https://cloudweek.substack.com/) which also showed me how much I love to share knowledge. I was afraid to write publically at first but people are really supportive after all and it helps me push even more.

After work, I started building my own SaaS, since I've been wanting to build it for a very long time, and now preparing for a launch in the coming weeks.

After a very long time, I'm really excited and grateful to be again part of a larger group.
