Big milestone today!
We onboarded our first beta user at thinkoutloud.io and made our first partnership π
A few months ago we just had an idea, and now we have a working MVP with a real user and a waiting list of ~70 people!
Here is our step-by-step onboarding process π

We got heavily inspired by the onboarding process of superhuman.
We schedule a 1-1 call with every new user
We create an account for them and ask them to sign-in, use our product and speak their thoughts
In the end of the call we discuss about their needs and vision
This way we can check:
if our product is easy to use
if people get it
what are some features they may need in the future
On top of this we build a personal relationship with them and this is the most important thing.
We believe in relationships and human-centered products not sales and growth-focused products.
You can read more at the SuperHuman case study as well https://growth.design/case-studies/superhuman-user-onboarding/
@productandres was our first user and we will support his venture http://buildupcamp.com by providing free accounts to his customers as part of their program!
They run design sprints and teach new founders how to think and act in a lean way and this is a great audience for us!
They are in heavy need of user feedback and thinkoutloud.io is exactly focused on that π€©
It's a tool that makes user feedback collection easier and more human, without boring impersonal forms and surveys.
That's it for now, really happy with the progress so far, and can't wait to onboard our next user next week!
If you are new to my journey, on June 2020 I quit my job with a year of savings (32.000β¬) to chase my dream of becoming a full-time IndieHacker. I had no specific plans or project ideas to work on. Only a goal, some savings and my skills. Since then I share every week what happens behind the scenes.
Feel free to join me on my journey, and to check all the updates I 've published so far!
Congrats, @jimzarkadas and @kangabru! Looking forward to seeing how thinkoutloud is going to evolve. π
Thanks Niklas π
Thanks a lot man <3
