Onboarding Automation Upgrade (Huge Win Today)

Today was a big milestone for PostForge.

I finally connected the full onboarding process to the point where a new client can submit their info and instantly have their own production environment created and ready for content generation. No manual data entry, no setup friction — the system now builds out the client workspace on its own.

Here’s what happens behind the scenes (in plain English, without the boring technical details):

1. Client fills out the onboarding form

They enter their niche, brand voice preferences, posting frequency, categories, and a handful of other inputs that help shape their content stream.

2. The system responds instantly

Both the client and I receive confirmation emails — nothing fancy, just a simple “You’re in, here’s what happens next” message to keep the experience tight.

3. PostForge builds the client’s content workspace automatically

This part used to take me 20–30 minutes of manual setup. Now it takes seconds.
The system creates a dedicated production sheet for the client and pre-loads all their variables so the writing engine knows exactly how to tailor their posts.

4. My only remaining steps are light

Once the workspace is created, I pop in to:

  • connect their WordPress site

  • point the writing/publishing engine at their new workspace

  • set their posting schedule

Then the system takes over from there.

Why this matters

This upgrade turns PostForge from a “cool automation” into an actual service that can scale. Before today, onboarding even a handful of users would’ve meant a lot of manual prep. Now it feels like a real product — one that could onboard 10 clients in a day without blinking.

Next goals

  • Get internal linking working again after the v2.0 engine upgrade

  • Make the scheduling logic more flexible

  • Start polishing the public-facing page on my site with better explanations and examples

Today was a good one.
Progress like this reminds me why I’m building in public — it keeps me accountable and gives me a reason to celebrate the small (and not-so-small) wins.
