Onboarding for an API product
Hey all,
Hoping you could advise! I have an API product that generates PDF documents and images from HTML or templates.
I see quite a lot of people sign up and never make an API request. I would love to reduce this number!
If you were to sign up for an API product, what do you expect in the way of on-boarding?

documentation looks pretty good. To make it easier try making a postman collection that users can just download and try on their own.
Main website is looking great as well.
If you can offer some free requests, see how for example https://postcodes.io is doing it. It's obviously an API and you can try it there right away.
You can have some dummy HTML page to convert right there on the spot where developers could see json request/responses.
