Hey folks,
I've been working on a one click solution to saving Slack threads. The idea is pretty simple; I noticed that whenever I use Slack, I tend to want to reference conversations later in documents, tasks, or project management tools.
Sometimes this would be easy where I could just go to Slack and search for the message, but other times I might want the entire context of a thread, or I would forget what to search for.
This is where Papertrail comes in where I came up with a solution to save an entire message thread with a click of an emoji. This saves the entire thread with along with the formatting of the messages in Notion or Asana. This seems like it would be useful for businesses that heavily use Slack as their primary method of communication. Also working on a Teams/Discord integration as well.
It would be great if folks could take a look and try it out at https://papertrail.work. It's more or less ready and it seems useful enough for me but would love to validate the idea with IndieHacker folks.
