For about five years, my wife and I lived and worked while traveling in an RV.
Every travel day involved the same long list of tasks: disconnect the water and power, secure the refrigerator, retract the slides, check the compartments, raise the leveling jacks, and make sure nothing was left behind.
Forgetting one small step could create a very expensive problem.
I wanted a simple checklist that I could build once, reuse every time, and share with another person. I also wanted both people to see updates immediately and to be able to review who completed each task afterward.
Most task-management tools felt too complicated or too focused on one-time projects, so I built zChecklist.
The basic workflow is:
- Create a reusable checklist
- Share it with another person
- Launch a new run whenever the process needs to be completed
- Work through the tasks together in real time
- Review the history afterward
The original use case was RV travel, but it also works for household chores, restaurant opening and closing procedures, event setup, workplace routines, and other repeatable processes.
The site is now live, and I’m at the stage where I need real-world feedback more than more feature ideas.
I’d especially appreciate thoughts on:
- Is the purpose of the product immediately clear?
- Does the pricing make sense?
- What would prevent you from trying it?
- Are there any recurring processes you would personally use it for?
You can see it here:
I also created a short demonstration:
This is my first attempt at launching and marketing a small SaaS product after spending most of my career building software for other companies. I’m looking forward to learning from the community.
One thing that stood out to me is that this doesn't feel like a checklist product.
It feels like a way to make repeatable processes dependable when more than one person is involved. That's a different promise, and probably the one I'd remember.
