One of my favorite parts about starting a new project and the beauty of just starting! (short post)

I haven't worked on a side project in 2 years until a month ago and one thing I forgot I loved about it is the process of an idea unveiling itself. The project I'm currently working on started off as a super simple CRUD app idea, but the more I work on it the more it takes a life of its own and new features naturally pop into my head. It further instills in my head that the most important thing is to just start, even with the simplest idea (or so it may seem). It reminds me of how Amazon first intended to just sell books but then took a life of its own over the course of multiple years. The least you can do is start!

Unrelated - I'll be starting to post more to this account about the project I'm starting so feel free to follow and/or send me a message! I just joined IndieHackers a few weeks ago and I love this community!

There's a time to write a spec and there's a time to just write code and see what happens. The latter is more akin to a craft or art where you just start and see where things take you and can be extremely satisfying and productive. I'm on a similar journey now with my side projects.

    What's your side project?
