Update:
Having had a chance to listen to the whole podcast on a commute, I have to say it resonated with me quite a bit. It came across as very authentic and the linear growth and comments about consistency pretty closely mirror my own experiences on YouTube.
The willingness to spend many hours on a task that could be done better by someone else for $35 dollars seems to be a pretty common type of irrational behavior. I've already been planning a podcast of my around that topic for a while now!
One thing I wonder about is, how can I take an IH survey? I don't think I've ever seen any... though my responses would have been pretty similar to the others:
I find podcasts are the most useful thing on IH, along with the interviews. I spend the most time on the forum, though (which isn't always a plus).
Yea very great quality. Loved the content and the story of how you got Coutrland to work with you and also Courtlands insights are always great tohear. Also, it was easy to digest at 40 mins. I really don’t have any critical things to say. You know what you’re doing. Even if it’s not about coding you touch on things that we all need to be better at and that’s being persistent and learning from our mistakes and having courage to just put ourselves out there and see what hits.
I really like content that talks about turning small beginnings into big ideas. Mostly about finding initial traction and distribution.
Cool beard!
