I expected feature requests.
Instead someone wrote:
"I don't need another app to tell me I'm on Day 37."
That sentence stuck with me.
It made me realize people weren't asking for better tracking.
They were asking for better support when things got difficult.
We've changed multiple parts of Sobrica because of conversations like that.
Sometimes one honest sentence tells you more than an entire feedback form.
What's the single piece of user feedback that completely changed your product?
That comment is useful because it questions the value of the core behavior, not just a missing feature.
At the same time, I’d be careful about redesigning too much around one sentence. It may represent a deeper need, or it may only describe one person’s frustration.
Have you heard similar language from other users since then?
That's exactly how I looked at it too. If it had only been one comment I probably would've ignored it. What made it different was seeing the same idea come up again and again across Reddit, Quora, and recovery communities. People rarely complained about missing features they talked about feeling alone when cravings hit or feeling like one slip erased all their progress. That repeated pattern made us rethink what problem we were actually trying to solve.
