To all of the makers and hackers out there. I encourage you to keep finding and becoming involved in communities. Sometimes it feels like a cumbersome waste of time, but its the relationships you build and connections that you make while being involved in these communities that makes all the difference.
One reddit post doubled my side projects users in a matter of days. I got a flood of questions, feedback, and praise. Its interactions like these that make startups. This is not to say that you can simply post once on a community forum or site and expect to get users. Just commit yourself to building community, helping others, and the sentiment will be reciprocated.
My simple reddit post, that generated much needed feedback: https://www.reddit.com/r/SideProject/comments/hqifcv/im_tired_of_having_76_tabs_open/
I'm a bit afraid of reddit
or better say, afraid of negative comments and bans
great you have had this success!
