"Don't ever arrive in front of your computer without a clear list of priorities. You'll just read unassociated email and scramble your brain for the day."
I was reading "The 4-Hour Workweek" and after reading the above quote in the book, I understood why most of my days are unproductive π.
I would have lot's of things to do, yet all my days would go by me checking email, social media, staring at my long list of tasks π and the cycle would repeat.
I kept on reading the book and came across another kicker. "If this is the only thing I accomplish today, will I be satisfied with my day?" π
At that moment I decided to create an app. And the idea of the app would revolve around the above question.
I wanted to build an app that, whenever I turn on my computer, the app would ask me or force me to enter the task I want to complete that day. And start a timer right away.
I immediately felt how vastly it would improve my productivity π. It would remove pointless web surfing, indecisiveness in picking a task to work on and getting distracted by any small things.
After coming up with name and branding and creating the UI designs, I started working on the MVP π».
I will be building the app for the next month and sharing the progress on Twitter. Give me a follow @akmal_saadullah to get the latest updates.
