One week after launch on Product Hunt
Hello, Indie Hackers.
Like all who launched their project on the Product Hunt, I have to report to the world about my success/failure.
Today I want to share my results one week after I launch my project Tripi on Product Hunt(https://www.producthunt.com/posts/tripi)
Statistics for first 24 hours:
40 upvotes on the project page.
Website visit: 243 people from 50 countries and 143 cities.
Registered 14 people out of them 9 filled information about yourself (filled in completely the profile).
1 person has created one fake trip.
What I observed(my problems):
- People looking through an empty site(no content) - people were looking for travel around the cities, but they were not on the site and they just left.
- So many steps to creating trip - the user must create an account, fill it, create trip(fill title, description, dates, route, budget, travelers count, upload image).
- People afraid to travel with strangers???
- How to push the user to action???
Currently, I have ~30 visitors per day, and they do not do anything.
If someone can give me advice about how I can improve my project or something else, I will be grateful.

Hi Nikolay,
Yes, PH is just the beginning of your long road. It only creates a spike in traffic which (usually) quickly diminishes. You'll need to think about some long term strategies.
To be honest, Tripi looks clean/professional, but lacks the "wow!". Maybe you/your designer can work on that aspect of the landing page? Also, "How it work" should be "How it works". I think the 5 steps, should be condensed into 3 steps, to make it apparent it's a simple/fast process. Good luck!

If I had a designer maybe it's was "wow!", but currently, I am a developer, designer, and other people which I need :)
