Hello everyone.
For almost a year now I have launched my blog https://ioHacker.com, a site that presents itself as "A place where you can find only the best stuff for coders and tech addicted.
Advice and review about all the gadgets and the tools useful to became a real ninja hacker! ".
With around 200 posts published and recent SEO optimization I have a hard time getting the project off the ground.
The idea is to combine several of my passions for gadgets, technology and the web. Logo, design and wordpress management was all made by me as a side project to my main job as IT Manager.
Monetization should happen in the future thanks to the various affiliate links.
What do you advise me to improve?
How to justify slow and poor growth?
What do you think about it?
I don't have to give up at all, quite the contrary.
I will continue to write new articles undeterred daily.
I do it for passion first.
Thank you all.
The one thing people advise against doing on your blog is to make it all about product reviews. It becomes way less genuine to look at. I suggest spending some time on a large article 2k-4k words with a lot of competition answering a question that people in your niche are asking would be your best bet.
Maybe something like "the ultimate list of gear for remote developers" or something like that. I might actually steal that one. haha
Let me know if you want to get on a call and chat.
This could be a nice idea. Thank you!
Your blog looks cool! One thing that caught my attention is the "Buy" button below some articles. That makes it look a bit like an ad which I don't trust that much.
Hello @CyberGigi your site looks really looks cool, I can't say more about the content cause I am not an SEO expert myself. Only one think I want to suggest is if you remove the rounded corners from images then it will look really nice.

Thank you for your answer! I think I understand perfectly what you mean, but you see the basic idea is not to "review" but to "find" and "select" certain types of products.
A place where those interested in a specific niche know that they can find useful ideas and ideas.
It's not that strange. There are several sites that do such things, among the best known are Werd, Uncrate, Gear Patrol, Cool Material.
My approach is similar to theirs, it's the niche that's different.
What time is it that it is doing everything wrong at the base, maybe it is still early or maybe the SEO optimization is bad.
