Hi fellow hackers!
After a few months of thinking about agile meetings, and ways to improve them, and because of the global WFH situation, I finally decided to focus on remote meetings.
I've spent couple of days this week working on this new project :
https://meet.retrolution.co/
I would love some feedback on the landing page:
Bonus: any feedback on what the product actually is? It's basically a fork of jitsi web client with new features built into the chat.
Thanks!
Congrats on the launch @Maxired
Does it look clear to you what the product is?
Did you click, on the CTA, and if no, Why?
What would be a good name for such a product? the page is currently hosted on Retrolution because I was focusing before solely on retrospective meetings, but this project is wider.
I'm also revamping my side project website, It would be great to hear your feedback!
thanks for the feedback @felix12777.
Regarding Zlides page,
leet me give you some feedback.
This is a very personal point of you, and I don't claim to have the truth ;-)
I think the black and white design is a strong move.
I am not immediately convinced that my presentation will be awesome if the first impression I have is a black text on a white background with no image.
There is definitely some good point.
For example, I think the above the fold text is good.
But below, I am a bit confused by the logo line.
I feel like you are not explaining what are those logo ?
As seen as? Or used by? If you don't explain, I feel you fake it.
After that, you finally have some images of slides.
But I am not sure what they are TBH.
Are they starting point using your layouts?
Are they slides created with your layouts?
also probably some animation, or the ability to zoom on the image would help..
Finally, you can't have a coming soon button without any action.
You should probably collect email.
Hi!
It looks clear to me and especially the part above the fold gave me a very good understanding of what the product is about!
My two spontaneous suggestions, or the first two things that came to my mind on the landing page were:
1.) The text could maybe improved by putting a stronger emphasis on the value proposition and to avoid "noisy repetitions".
Let's take for example:
"Poker Planning
Organize Poker Planning sessions inside Retrolution. See everybody's vote and get more time to discuss the user story."
It feels to me that the actual interesting part for a customer is at the very end of this block. "get more time" and therefore I would try to push this part before the first sentence. Something like...
"Poker Planning
Get more time to discuss the user story by..."
2.) Some of the CTA buttons could be more eye-catching. In the "About Us" section the CTA button is both similar in shape and exactly matching in color to the shapes in the illustration.
Hi @senator_unstaffed.
Thanks a lot for your feedback, which makes total sense.
I guess you are right, I need to learn how to be more catchy ;-)
