Came across a stat that stuck with me: only about 6% of logistics businesses report full end-to-end workflow visibility, and roughly 60% say they lack adequate visibility altogether. Meanwhile, a lot of these same companies have dashboards showing 95%+ on-time delivery.
Both things are true at once because the dashboard measures what's tracked, not what actually happens. The failures live in the gaps between systems — the handoff between warehouse and carrier, the moment a shipment gets marked "complete" before the next party is actually ready to receive it.
