Onlyfans will be banning sexually explicit content starting this October. Is there a hole to fill in?

Cheeky pun, I know.

Anyway, their banking partners and payment processors (Visa, Mastercard etc.) are pressing them suspecting that there might by questionable content (involving minors or other illegal stuff) on the platform.

I think performers are getting more aware that relying on a third party platform is, well, unreliable.

I've noticed a lot of performers don't post direct links to their Onlyfans. Instead, they post a link to their own website which then redirects the user to Onlyfans. It's a failsafe mechanism: they can redirect the user to a different platform if they needed to (such as in this case) without breaking the original link.

The performers will now turn to other platforms such as FanCentro, ManyVids, etc. but for how long?

Idea:

A backend platform (SaaS) with all the features but it will be viewable under their own website.

This gives the owner more control over their content. It also offloads most of the legal responsibilities from the platform to the owner.

However, I'm not sure how effective this will be. Onlyfans consolidated the content in one place. With this idea, the subscribers will have to visit multiple websites to consume content.

Until a few years ago, most adult performers used to have their own "club" websites (very similar to this idea I'm talking about) and those things are pretty much gone now. So, I'm not sure if this is such a good idea after all.

What do you think?
