Hi everyone,
(sorry for my english, I'm a french guy :P).
It's been a long time that I'm thinking about creating a software to take notes as I'm used to do on a paper book.
Basically, since I've started to work, I'm used to take notes on a paper book about interesting info gathered during a meeting, tasks to do, howtos, etc ...
I've tried to use some software like google notes, joplin, etc ... to replace paper but after some weeks/months, I'm almost lost in all my notes, my tasks, etc ... and I come back to paper.
My idea would be to create a clean text editor where I would write day after day all the stuff that I normally write on paper. I would use some specific tags such as @link, @howto, @task, etc ... to identify specific element types. I would also use hashtags (#) to categorize information.
This editor would be my "day to day" view of my notes with a kind of timeline scrollbar to navigate in it.
But, at the same time, the software would extract all useful info to create structured data. So, if I need it, I would be able to search elements by type, by tags, by date, etc ...
I would also be able to get a view by type (task view, notes view, etc ...), to consult a kind of auto-built Q&A (based on questions and answers written in the book), interesting URL, etc ...
I'm also thinking to connect this software to other software like to do list app/task management to be able to dispatch items to software that handle them better than mine.
As I'm a software developer, it would be a nice side project for me, but I would like to know if for you it could also be a nice business project ?
Thanks !
