Opportunity to build for Android Auto?

I'm wondering if this is the perfect moment to start building some apps on the emerging market to be promoted first?
Although I don't see Google Play announcing any separate marketplaces for Android Auto apps specificaly.

Oh that's interesting, maybe could be hard to start from zero - could be a great way to grow an app that already exists by being one of the few apps with an optimized Android Auto app - mainly if Google would promote the best Android Auto apps in the Play Store giving good visibility - but that's assuming they actually do that.
That's what I'm hoping for. Reminds me of golden times when Google Play was starting and every new app was basically promoted. Although limited amount of categories are allowed.
