Techstars and 500 Startups are the other two popular accelerators in the US. I was a business associate at Techstars.
PROS
-Access to a wide range of mentors and investors.
-Accelerate marketing.
-Access to community of existing founders within the accelerator.
-Access to support tools and deals.
CONS
-Doesn't guarantee startup success. (Not necessarily a con)
-Sometimes mentors push you towards the direction which you might not think is the right direction.
