Trust it is moving smoothly?
Bummer. Are you considering modifying your post and trying other subs? Perhaps you'd have better luck with other subs like r/startups or r/sideproject? Instead of "launching" try requesting feedback or sparking a conversation loosely related to your product.
Good idea, thanks. I'll definitely be spending more time on Reddit, to check out other subreddits. Again, thanks for the suggestions!
reddit is a tough nut to crack. To my knowledge, the two most successful (only successful?) posts from indie hackers came from Lynne Tye[1] and Max Alfarakh[2], one of the co-founders of Jitbit.
What is it exactly that worked for them? Hard to say — audiences are fickle. In general though, successful founder stories strike a good balance between narrative and advice. Too little narrative and people get bored. Too few explicit learnings and direct pieces of advice and you risk losing those segments of your audience that aren't trying to build exactly what you're building — since direct advice generalizes the learnings of unique examples.
But this is just my speculation. Looking forward to the next entry!

It is quite difficult, but I’m keen to learn! Thanks for your input.
