When we set out to create a digital space for Luton’s premier, ladies-only salon, we wanted the website to reflect the same care, precision, and modern energy that our clients experience when they walk through our doors.

To bring this vision to life quickly, we decided to push the boundaries of modern development by building the platform using vibe coding (leveraging powerful AI coding agents).

In the beginning, it felt like magic. We were able to rapidly translate our ideas into stunning, interactive pages. From showcasing our permanent laser hair removal to detailing our precision hair styling and custom facials, the initial setup was incredibly fast. The speed of going from a blank canvas to a beautifully styled layout made us feel like we had a superpower.

However, as we began building out comprehensive, detailed landing pages to cover our extensive range of over 12 professional services, we hit a real-world developer bottleneck.

We quickly learned that while vibe coding is incredible for prototyping and building individual, modular components, relying on it to edit and maintain lengthy, single-file pages is incredibly hectic. Whenever we needed to make a minor edit or update a section on a long page, the AI context would get heavy, leading to a tedious cycle of rewrites and troubleshooting. It was a massive lesson in the importance of clean, modular code architecture over just "vibing" through a large build.

Through that chaotic but rewarding process of refining, breaking down the code, and manually structuring our pages, we successfully launched the platform.
