Hi Everyone. We are building a lending platform for small businesses called Poollend (www.poollend.com).
We ask our customers to sign up for a newsletter. We have experienced more engagement since we've introduced a different wording of a "thank you" email. Here it goes:
Hi (NAME),
I noticed that you signed up to keep in touch with Poollend and I wanted to check in with you to ensure that you have everything you need.
Here at Poollend customer experience is at the heart of everything we do. It's why we come to work each day. All sign-ups to this email inbox are monitored by myself, so if you'd like to get in touch directly to provide any feedback which could help us help you, please hit reply and I'll ensure that we get onto that right away.
One more thing: We totally get that there's nothing on the internet more intimate than your inbox, so we never bombard you with unwanted emails or in-your-face advertising. We respect that wholeheartedly.
And finally, check right below if your business is eligible for a credit. All you need is
◉ Identification and contact details
◉ Business registration number
◉ Operational for at least 6 months
◉ Gross annual turnover of at least R100,000
Thanks again and I'm delighted to have you onboard and look forward to helping you drive your business to awesome new heights.
Gratefully yours,
Cecil Jamwa
CMO, Poollend Inc.
Thanks for sharing this, Cyrus. I love how sincere this email sounds... I'm super curious, what did the first thank you email look like? What changed?
