I've posted here before when my landing page was running a demo, and I got really valuable feedback, so any tips now the page is built out to get customers?
I have just published a very short video on the homepage, thanks to the recommendations from @MrTsikira @MrJustinF @neilxm ! Video editing is not my strong point, but hopefully, it illustrates how the product can work in less than 60 seconds. Feedback is welcome, and thank you for helping me get this far with the LP development!
One question for you actually. I like your landing page! Are you using a static site generator / next etc? Are there any good templates you've found? I'm looking for some recommendations :)
Looks awesome! The video instantly tells me why this product is valuable AND how it works.
Now for the main question - have you seen a difference in signups / website engagement etc after adding the video ?
Great job!
Great LP!
Some feedback (which is based on me taking a glance + this is not from a design expert :) ):
Re the copy on the main LP, "Send Email Newsletters from your best content" -- change "from" to "using".
On the main LP again, move the "Get Started" button and associated text stating "No Credit Card Required" to be centre-aligned - will just look better in my view.
The "Get Started" button being black blends into the main LP, might be better to have it in the gold/mustard-ish shade so it stands out.
Agree with @neilxm's great feedback too!
Best of luck!
Thanks! I've already made your suggestion from point 1! Think it sounds much better :)
I'm going to review this hero section to include a video as some of the other suggestions, but for a quick win, I'll get the text centred!
I like this product a lot..conceptually. But the first question that comes to my mind is, how good will the auto generated content be and how much will I have to tweak and baby it to get what i need? I wonder if there's some way you can show the product in action. Something super basic. Your demo seems to have been successful at getting some attention and I can see why. It's a cool concept and definitely solving a problem. The only blocker for me is "how" will it work? And I would be hesitant to go through the effort of signing up and then connecting all my youtube, social accounts etc just to experience how it would work. You need some sort of low friction way to excite people i think.
With the demo, I used to take website + email. Do you think it would work if I did a basic website-only demo and then show a CTA for getting someone to create an account based on the demo? I thought removing the demo in exchange for no credit card required signup would help! Tricky balance but appreciate your feedback!
I don't think the credit card will help much. I didn't even know credit card was needed for sign up and was still hestitant. If I understand correctly, the power of what you're doing is monitoring all my sources of content and then summarizing it into a newsletter right? So I think you need to show all, but on second thought - it doesn't need to be a live demo. Just make a video demo!
Looks good
Yeah definitely need a demo video so that its easier to visualize what the newsletter will look like. Also just wondering about the pricing. Why the decision not to have a free tier?
Decided against a free tier for now because sending emails has a cost attached, and I don't want to cover that cost indefinitely for a smaller customer. Not ruling it out in the future though!
Can I check what the example email newsletter will look like based on my blog articles without registration?
Do you provide an HTML code snippet for collecting new subscribers? How does it look like?
This is the kind of product that needs a video demo/overview in the header. I get it, but I don't get why it matters. I also don't have a clue about pricing and scale based on subscribers, which is a standard in this industry. At least add a 3rd tier (5000+ subscribers, coming soon) or something so it doesn't look like you're completely capped at 5000.
Thanks for the feedback really appreciated it! I've added both of these points to my roadmap! I'm going to add more plans coming soon, I wanted to get confident in supporting customers with fewer subscribers to get started, so that's why!
If anyone has used a video/demo service, please let me know or is it going to have to be a Fiverr job?
hey man, such a great idea - quick question, does it automatically understand which content has the most potential to be promoted based on past impressions or other metrics, or do you have to manually select which content from your website you want to include in the newsletter?
would love to connect, send me a dm on Twitter @axelamer
Hey! Thanks so much for the feedback!
Initially, with blog posts, I'm scoring posts on a combination of created and updated dates, but I'm also working on pulling data from ahrefs to get an idea of page views over the past 30 days.
In the mid-term, I want to add a Google Analytics integration so that I can work out which posts have been trending that week. With Tweets and YouTube I look at views and re-tweets / likes.
Yeah, be great to connect!
hey can you send me a dm on twitter? @axelamer
