Outbound vs inbound for SaaS startup

Anyone with experience starting a SaaS, would love to hear your experience from you and learn more things to grow our tool?

How was your time allocated between inbound and outbound? What channels worked best for you, are there any free traffic sources you can offer?

My target is 1-50 emp. companies that have websites, it doesn't matter they are SaaS, eCommerce, blogs, or marketing agencies.

I do mainly outbound but would love to hear from you any advice to grow
