Hi all,
Like most of us, I work as a developer and enjoy creating projects on the side that don't have to do with my 9-5 job. I love the creation and problem solving aspect of it, but whenever I finish a simple MVP or project, I get discouraged when going to market it.
I always second guess myself, my idea, my project as soon as I go to promote it somewhere, even before I get feedback. I think I also just dislike marketing alot and that's another reason I get in my head about it. The second guessing creates a cycle where I have fun building a website or project and then when I have something presentable, I attempt marketing but then give up and move on to the next project.
As I have just released a new website MVP, I am trying to break the cycle and actually get some beta users/feedback this time.
What are some tips that have helped you get out of the marketing slump?
Thanks a bunch!
