Hey ya all. We had this discussion that Marek brought to us. It was about if overworking when you are young is a good thing to do. Well, we mostly chat about our experience.
It's kind of a dangerous and attractive thing. You love what you do, you have dreams of achieving great things and it's not hard to give everything to it when you are young.
And I believe in hard work. But I also believe it's important to listen to you the body and not only the mind and be attentive to it. Take rest when it feels like too much. It's ok.
You are here for a marathon, not a sprint. It may seem like a sprint, but it's not. VC investors and others made it look like a sprint. But you as an entrepreneur are here for the long run. It will take you years before you are successful.
So think about it, if you knew you will be doing this for 10 years before you start achieving your dreams, would you burn yourself out in the first 3?
edit: grammar... monday morning is hard for my brain
