In June 2020, I wrote this story about Pabbly Connect and how it made more than $110K in just 2 weeks by offering the lifetime deal.

Here is the Link to the story - https://www.indiehackers.com/post/this-zapier-alternative-made-110k-in-less-than-2-weeks-by-selling-lifetime-deals-here-is-how-d928d04efb
Many of us doubted as how it can be sustainable by offering a lifetime deal on a zapier-like complex automation tool.
Well, in October 2020, the Pabbly team announced that they made more than 450K USD, mostly by offering the lifetime deal and that for a less than 2 months of time.
In the meantime, they have added integration with almost 400 external tools. It's still very low compared to Zapier but seriously not bad for just a few months old automation tool.
Even, more surprisingly, almost after two months, they are again offering a lifetime deal on this same tool, till Cyber Monday, at almost same pricing plan and features.
Hopefully, they will reach close to $1M revenue all by the end of this year, mostly just by running the lifetime deal.
But the question still remains the same. Will it really be sustainable? Is it really possible to give lifetime deals for a tool like with unlimited workflows and unlimited triggers etc.?
