Pacific Bell Blocks Dial A-Porn Numbers
Pacific Bell approved a plan to end dial-a-porn phone calls and other information services. This change is only applicable to phone numbers that start with prefix 976. These services provide messages that are deemed harmful to children. These messages are accessible only by subscribers who are over the age of 18. Telephone numbers that begin with 900-505 can only be used to conduct group conversations between subscribers. This is to ensure that all numbers are secure.
