Are you part of or running a paid community? How is it different than a community which is accessed for Free like IH?
I've been curating online communities for the Hive Index, and tagging them by "feature". Here's my list of paid communities for entrepreneurs, check them out!
The paid communities tend to have a bit more serious of a crowd, and are more committed to the community. With that in mind, I don't think that you need to have an exclusive community for it to be a good one, there are plenty of phenomenal free ones out there.
oh, very cool!
Hey, awesome resource! Thanks for sharing it!
Running LVRSNFRNDS, a paid community. IH has been acquired by Stripe and I don't assume the access is entirely 'free' (data, advertising...).
What makes us different from a Reddit or a Facebook group is that we don't share the data of our members and that we don't use our platform to display ads. Not related to the fact we're not free, we are also safer and more inclusive than FB and Reddit due to our selection process.
not being "cheeky" here...
... but isn't the difference... just that one is
paidand the other isfree?i mean, you can offer different content / services in each.
