Participate In Communities Through Comment Marketing

Leaving comments on community websites such as Reddit, Quora, IndieHackers or even forums that are focused on your niche is a good way to drive traffic to your website or to demonstrate your expertise.

If done properly, this strategy can also help you earn valuable backlinks which will boost your SERP ranking.

You want to make sure that your comment will add value and you want to stay away from blanket spamming in comments. This can get you banned and even hurt your ranking.

I feel like reddit would be great, but also potentially could make your brand look bad if you're too pushy or too casual. Are there any subreddits based around actually promoting a genuine business/offer?

To be honest, I think everybody knows about it already from ages.

Could be my niche (personal finance), but subreddits worth the effort ban content directed at anything you are affiliated with. Either comments/posts are removed, or even shadow banned if they contain a link unless you are deemed an accepted tool in the space. I would avoid Reddit for anything other than early users testing for b2c. I think b2b has much better chances though. Just my experience. Curious to hear other hacker’s experiences.
