Passionfruit Labs was built so getting cited in AI answers shouldn’t require voodoo :P

I kept running into the same pain:

AI answers are the new distribution channel… but optimizing for it today is like throwing spaghetti in the dark and hoping an LLM eats it.

Existing tools are basically:

  • “Here are 127 metrics, good luck”
  • $500/mo per seat
  • Zero clue on what to actually do next

So I came across Passionfruit Labs.

It sits on top of your brand + site + competitors and gives you actual stuff you can act on, like:

  • Who’s getting cited in AI answers instead of you
  • Which AI app is sending you real traffic
  • Exactly what content you’re missing that AI models want
  • A step-by-step plan to fix it
  • Ways to stitch it into your team without paying per user

No dashboards that look like a Boeing cockpit.
Just “here’s the gap, here’s the fix.”

Setup is dumb simple, connect once, and then you can do stuff like:

  • “Show me all questions where competitors are cited but we’re not”
  • “Give me the exact content needed to replace those gaps”
  • “Track which AI engine is actually driving users who convert”
  • “Warn me when our share of voice dips”

Here’s the link if you want to give it a try for free to share your feedback >> https://www.producthunt.com/posts/passionfruit-labs

Let me know what tool are you using for GEO in the comments. :)

Consider me skeptical. LLMs, by nature are black boxes, so I highly doubt an app can tell me what content to produce that helps me get cited. Their algorithm also probably changes regularly too.

That said, tracking your citations is a good first step. I'm just skeptical overall of anyone or anything that says 'here's how to get cited more'

This is such a smart angle, Rohan — optimizing for AI visibility instead of just search visibility is exactly where content strategy is headed. Most marketers are still treating LLM citations like a black box, so a tool that actually shows who’s being referenced and why is huge.

The “actionable gap-fix loop” you described feels like what SEO tools should’ve evolved into years ago. Can’t wait to test how accurate Passionfruit’s citation insights are across different AI engines — that’s where the real moat could be

This looks super promising — finally, something that goes beyond vanity metrics and actually tells you what to do. The “show me where competitors are cited but we’re not” feature alone sounds like a game-changer. AI visibility is definitely the new SEO frontier, and tools that make it actionable (instead of just noisy) are exactly what we need right now. Excited to give Passionfruit Labs a spin!

    Many congratulations!!
