Passive Income / Business Ideas
Hello everyone! This is my first post on IH. I am a software engineer and used to be quite entrepreneurial in the past. I had managed to generate a passive income for several years - however recently I've taken a 9-5 job for personal reasons. I started getting the urge to create something new. Would you be interested in creating a list of passive income ideas? I need some brainstorming :D
(I've seen such lists on other forums but they are quite out-dated)
Creating a marketplace, not a marketplace for everything like e-bay. But a niche.

Many of these questions will be so simple for you to answer that you might not even realise your uniqueness. However, the more of these you can answer, the more ideas will start to emerge.
thanks for your input! I get what you're saying, and I 100% agree. In the end it will be my personal interest that will dictate what I'll end up working on. However, I was hopping to have a general brainstorm discussion here, and it doesn't have to be centered around just my interests, so that people can express their ideas without limiting themselves. I am a big believer in creating communities and finding a way to help them.
You can then go and offer special services and products for this community in exchange for money.
It's a great idea, I am sure technically not difficult the biggest challenge would be to get people on board. Traffics.??

IndieHackers is itself a community. There are many subgroups like Idea Validation, Feedback and stuff. You could choose one of these small groups and find what their problem is and how you can help them.
Another example that I personally like is how dribble.com community is evolving. People just sharing personal projects and letting employers hire them based on their experience.
