Hey everyone,
I'm Nikolas, a software dev from Toronto, Canada.
So, I started working on a 'life' project where my goal is to simply absorb as much information as I can about everything business finance related with the intention of teaching my family, friends and those on the interwebs.
Long story short - I didn't grow up with much and I've witnessed my family make terrible financial decisions time and time again.
As I got older and started making my own money from side hustles ( detailing cars, hacking gaming consoles, freelance dev work, etc) I naturally started to get curious about why and how others in the big ol' world were able to be so financially saavy.
The true drive to really learn was always kind of hanging around inside and not really doing much until I experienced the sudden loss of my Dad in Nov. 2022. Something flipped inside of me.
Fast forward to now - I'm putting in that sweat equity just reading a ton and summarizing what I've found and learned into relatively easy to digest posts.
What's the point in this?
I want to force myself out of my comfort zones, learn the lessons from history and apply them to my current life which has an impact on everyone and everything I interact with.

Apologies if this sounds like a weird rant lol, I wanted this to be as raw as possible.
I've been lurking on here for a very very very long time and I want to say thank you to this entire community + @channingallen and @csallen.
Hopefully this life project of mine evolves and brings value to anyone who happens to cruise by.
Thanks for browsing. 🤙🏾
