Pastryy - Design Feedback Website
Hey designers,
I recently launched a design feedback website called Pastryy (waiting for our page to be approved by Indie Hackers), but we're a team of designers that can provide designer quality feedback on your logos, websites and mobile app designs for as little as $1.
I started this website to help designers that want to get quality feedback on their designs quickly.
I remember when I first started out designing I didn't want anyone seeing my designs because I knew they weren't that good. I think the best part about our product is that we don't share your designs without your consent!

Cool service. Two things:
.. You seriously need examples of the feedback you provide.
.. Your pricing plans don't fit common need: $1 basic for 1 site doesn't provide in-depth feedback, but then $10 premium for unlimited sites does. I think most common need would be $2-5 option to get in-depth feedback for one site.
Forgot to say if you're interested in giving us a try I'd love to give you a free month to test us out.
Hey @HenriNext both plans give you "In-depth" feedback the only difference between the plans is the $1 plan has a 1-2 day turn around where the premium is less than 24 hours. You can only submit one design per month for the $1 plan where the $10 plan allows you to have unlimited submissions.
I created the $1 plan for designers that might not design a lot or have the budget to afford the $10 plan but still want to utilize our service. It's also a great gateway to test out our service and the feedback we provide.
Actually your website says differently: option "Premium" has item "more in-depth feedback".

I'm not interested at this time for two reasons:
Unless this is a loss leader strategy since you run a design studio as well. If that's the case, I can see that this might end up being profitable overall. If that's the case, that's actually a pretty clever approach. I hope to hear more on how it works out - very interesting!

So, you are 100% right about the point 2... I don't understand how they could be directly profitable from this, even if the feedback would be rush job from 3rd world country, but it was actually detailed score sheet of various aspects, with couple of paragraphs explaining each score, plus ideas what to improve.
I also don't understand why them not being directly profitable is reason to not sign up... I take loss leaders as great opportunity to get a free lunch and exploit them to the maximum extent possible :)
Hey @calebmpeterson the $3 is a one time fee not monthly it's a great way to get feedback on just one of your projects and to see if you like the feedback we provide.
I actually do own my own studio and as of now, we don't have a lot of members so I can for sure handle the workload right now.
If you have any downs ask @HenriNext how we did. He signed up and seemed to love the feedback we were providing.

After seeing the website, I'm not sure I understand the pricing model though. I've ran a design feedback website for half a year and from my experience, to give a really good feedback on a website I'd need to spend up to 1 hour (depending on the quality of the design and code), to go through all the details, give a couple of suggestions to improve upon, show relevant examples etc..
I was running it in my free time and pro bono, but If you decided to monetize the service, I'm not sure how $10/m can be sustainable since I assume you still have to do work + have some time away from the screen.
Hey, Martin thanks for responding. The reason we've added the $1 plan is to get allow people to sign up at an affordable price to give our service a try, it also allows designers that might not have a lot of projects to still get feedback as well. You can only submit one design per month and the response time is 1-2 business days.
The users that get my most attention are Premium users, we're growing but we're not to the point where I can't review every submission. I also have another designer on board and plan on adding more to help with the workload.
I'd love to give you a free month so you can test us out. What do you say?
