I am weighing whether to invest in a consultation with an attorney or paying for my new mockups.
The hard/time-consuming part is the trademark search. You have to figure out how to search the currently filed "live" trademarks in the USPTO database, all 50 states, and "common law" marks. There's enough information about it online to figure it out, but it may not be the best use of your time.
