Patients Struggle to Access Modern Treatments; I’m Building DoctorOnCall to Fix That

I’m Dr. Alyne, a physician exploring the world of health tech and digital healthcare.

Most of my medical work revolves around metabolic health, diabetes management, GLP-1 therapies, weight management, and men’s health treatments. Over time I noticed something interesting: many patients struggle not because treatments don’t exist, but because access, understanding, and guidance are still fragmented.

Patients search online for answers, get overwhelmed by conflicting information, and often don’t know where to start.

That observation pushed me to start building DoctorOnCall (https://www.doctoroncall.com/), a platform focused on making modern medical treatments more understandable and accessible through digital care.

My goal is simple:
• Help patients understand new therapies like GLP-1 medications
• Simplify access to trusted medical advice
• Use technology to remove friction between patients and care

As someone new to the Indie Hackers community, I’m here to learn how other founders approach building, validating ideas, and creating sustainable online businesses.
