As a content consumer, I always felt frustrated when it comes to contributing to the content creators I love for the below reasons.
- I can't afford to contribute $5 every-month for just one creator.
- Even $1 is also a bit more because there are a ton of good creators per month
- Even if I did cross above barriers, it takes at least 5-10 minutes to make a single donation
So I'm working on a micro-donation platform to remove the commitment and minimum amount barriers and make the experience quick and super easy.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Sounds interesting and site looks clean. I make most of my hustle income from Patreon, GitHub sponsors, and donations via Paypal.
As somebody providing stuff for free, I definitely prefer the monthly recurring support. Also from the little experience I have gathered now, most people who join stay there but the one-time donations via Paypal help a lot. Signed up to newsletter.
