Which payment methods should a B2B SaaS accept, outside of the standard Visa, MasterCard and Amex?
Does anyone have B2B customers paying by Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Do businesses in the US and Europe still pay with PayPal, if using their company credit card directly is an option?
How about Direct Debit / ACH / SEPA options? I would have thought that B2B clients wouldn't use these, as it takes money out of their company bank account, without a PO / Approval / Invoice attached.
I gather "Billing by Invoice" is still the preferred method by Enterprise clients, where they pay annually via bank transfer, after issuing a PO Number and receiving a valid invoice.
It would be great to hear from established SaaS founders that mostly have medium to large sized B2B clients, with recurring billing.
Here's one more tool which you can use as the payment method in your merchant is — BNPL for SaaS. BNPL for SaaS will help you to close 2 times (according to our date) more annual deals by providing payment flexibility to your customers. BNPL will help to your customers to split the annual plan into monthly payments without any interest fees. As we all know that most businesses have several subscriptions to SaaS and going annually with all of them will cost a big piece of their budget. Here BNPL helps them to annual and keep paying monthly, while SaaS will get paid upfront from service.
Here's a good read about that from our blog on medium:
