Paypal User Authentication as alternative?

Hey Guys,

I am building out a highlighter chrome extension called Sttrng (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/sttrng/pamamakpbcohaekobjffacmkcepmbcbk?hl=en&authuser=0) and included a PayPal Identity Authentication Method (https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/identity/v1/). I wanted to see if you guys think there is any value in this authentication code stand-alone? It is coded to be able to handle enterprise-scale users.

I recognize that there a lot of authentication solutions on the web (like Okta) that are pretty expensive so I'm curious if it's something you'd find as a time/cost saver. From what I have seen on YouTube, Auth0 can get pretty pricey:

I don't think people are very used to logging into sites with PayPal. I'd only go that route if all users are going to be paying with PayPal as well. Firebase Auth might be a good solution if you want to keep it free (or cheap), and that allows for other social login options like Google, Facebook, etc.

Cool thanks for the feedback! I was thinking people will be paying through PayPal to make it a quick turn-key solution.
