PayPrompt MVP Launch

Hey Indie Hackers,

After too many months spent chasing overdue invoices for my freelance and consulting gigs, I finally built the tool I always wanted—PayPrompt.

What is it?
PayPrompt connects to your QuickBooks Online account, pulls in open invoices, and automatically sends reminder emails and SMS to your clients at 30, 14, and 7 days before (and after) due dates—so you spend less time following up, and more time working (or, ideally, not working 😅).

Why did I build it?
Chasing down payments is easily my least favorite part of running a solo business. I tried a bunch of existing tools, but they were either overkill, too expensive, or didn’t play nicely with QuickBooks. So I built something simple:

• Connect QuickBooks Online

• Default reminder workflow (customizable later)

• Automated email (with your branding)

• Dashboard to see what’s sent

• Stripe-powered billing (cancel anytime)

Who’s it for?
Freelancers, consultants, agencies, or anyone invoicing with QuickBooks who’s tired of emailing “Just following up…” for the hundredth time.
