PeerKudos, a Simple Employee Recognition Tool

Welcome to PeerKudos.com, a simple anonymous peer-to-peer recognition tool that helps to improve company culture and employee enjoyment. My mission is to provide a platform that empowers employees to recognize and appreciate their colleagues, fostering a positive work environment and boosting morale.

What sets PeerKudos apart from other peer-to-peer employee recognition services is its focus on anonymity. I believe that open and honest communication is essential for building strong teams, but I also understand that not everyone is comfortable sharing feedback in a public forum. That's why I created PeerKudos - to provide a safe, anonymous space for employees to give and receive feedback and recognition.

I came up with the idea for PeerKudos after seeing firsthand the positive impact that recognition and appreciation can have on a team. I was always looking for ways to improve the company culture and increase employee enjoyment. After researching various options, I realized that there was a gap in the market for a simple, anonymous peer-to-peer recognition tool.

PeerKudos is my side project, imagined and built during long nights and weekends. I have faced my fair share of challenges and setbacks. One of the biggest challenges I faced was building the software from scratch. To overcome this, I turned to no-code tools (big shut-out to Bubble) and artificial intelligence (thank you, Midjourney) to help me design the user interface and streamline the development process.

Despite these challenges, I am proud to say that PeerKudos is now officially launched.

For other entrepreneurs out there, I have a few pieces of advice based on my experiences as a bootstrapper. First and foremost, don't be afraid to go out and do it. Starting a business can be intimidating, but the rewards are well worth it, if only building products that you love and talk to people that you’d love to help. Second, act fast and use whatever tools you have at your disposal to speed up your work. Finally, don't be afraid to ask for help or collaborate with others. You don't have to do it all alone.
