I’ve been noticing the same pattern across a lot of products:
People get interested.
They understand the value.
They even explore a bit.
But then… they don’t act.
At first I thought it was:
– bad copy
– unclear pricing
– lack of urgency
But I don’t think that’s it anymore.
It feels like there’s a small gap between:
“this is relevant”
and
“this applies to me right now”
And that gap shows up exactly at the moment of decision.
From the outside it looks like hesitation.
But it’s more like:
they still have to mentally translate the product into their own situation.
And that’s where things break.
I’ve been wondering if the real unlock isn’t better explanations…
but removing that translation step entirely.
Curious if others have seen the same thing?
Where users “get it” — but still don’t act?
